Missing Morristown Dogs Found, Returned to Owners
Police say puppies returned Wednesday night, investigation ongoing.

More than four days after two Morristown residents said their two dogs were stolen from their backyard, the puppies have been found safe and returned home.
Morristown Police Lt. Stuart Greer said the dogs were located Wednesday night “by an aware citizen” and were returned safe to the owners.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation by detectives from the investigation unit,” Greer said.

Donnie Horn and Lorena Bussorelli filed a report Saturday night when they returned home from the grocery store to find Bella and Boss, their two puppies, were no longer in the backyard. The couple used social media to spread the word, which gained statewide attention early in the week.
Around midday Wednesday, Bussorelli posted on her Facebook page that a possible lead had come out, and that a white female in her 40s wearing a baseball hat attempted to steal another dog on Hanover Avenue by grabbing it from over a fence, the post said. The dog’s owner in that situation spotted the alleged thief and stopped her, the post said.
