Morris Co. Man Charged With Child Porn Possession
Detectives found sexually explicit photos of children on an electronic device seized from the man, the prosecutor's office said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County man was arrested for having child pornography, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll announced Wednesday.
Richard Ferrarie-Lofredo, age 37, from Dover, is charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child (possession of child pornography).
According to police, the investigation began with a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) referencing media files, allegedly depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of children.

The media files were allegedly uploaded to Reddit, an internet-based social platform, by Ferrarie-Lofredo. It is further alleged that Ferrarie-Lofredo possessed additional items of child pornography on an electronic device, Carroll said.
Ferrarie-Lofredo was arrested on the above charges on Jan. 12, 2024, police said.

Following his arrest, he was released under the Criminal Justice Reform Act with pretrial release conditions that included monitoring and no internet usage.
