Morris Co. Man Dies In Snowmobile Crash In New York State
Kelly J. Rozansky, 56, of Kinnelon, died in the crash early Wednesday in upstate New York, police said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County man died in a single-vehicle snowmobile crash early Wednesday morning in upstate New York, according to the Town of Webb Police Department.
Kelly J. Rozansky, 56, of Kinnelon, was killed in the crash that happened at around 12:40 a.m. Wednesday on a trail in the Herkimer County town located in the Central Adirondacks Mountains, police said.
According to authorities, the Webb Police Department, Old Forge Fire Department, and an ambulance were dispatched to Trail 5 between Rondaxe Road and State Route 28 after reports of a crash.

The preliminary investigation suggested that Rozansky was traveling west on Trail 5 when he lost control of his Ski-Doo snowmobile, causing him to veer off the trail and strike a tree.
Members of his riding party found Rozansky dead in the snow, police said.

Police Chief Ron Johnston said that excessive speed was a contributing factor to the crash.
