Morris County Park Police Blotter: Drug, Warrant Arrests Made

Two people were arrested by Morris County Park Police last week.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Last week, Morris County Park Police made one arrest relating to drug possession and another for an outstanding warrant.

The first arrest was made Feb. 4. Police said 30-year-old Mindaugas Stanys of New York City was pulled over for a violation in Riverdale. After an investigatoin, Stanys was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released pending an appearance in court.

A second arrest was made Feb. 6 when park police were sent to Dover Police Department regarding a man being kept in Dover police custody. Emerson Ospina, 36, of Bloomfield, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Mine Hill Municipal Court. He was released pending a new court date.
