Morris Employee Admits Taking County Equipment, Barred From Public Work
Mine Hill man will have one year probation, 25 hours of community service, prosecutor says.

A Mine Hill man who formerly worked for the Morris County Department of Law and Safety admitted to illegal activity Friday and will now be barred from public employment, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp.
James Masker, 30, of Mine Hill, admitted to taking six radios that belonged to the county and distributed them to private individuals, Knapp said.
All the radios have been recovered, Knapp said, and under the plea agreement, Masker has been sentenced to one-year probation and 25 hours of community service.

As part of the plea, Masker has also resigned his position and is barred from future public employment.
