"Under Marge’s guidance, the Morristown Parking Authority introduced Innovative strategies to optimize parking availability, streamline processes, and prioritize customer satisfaction," the board said in a statement. "Her dedication to creating a seamless parking experience significantly contributed to the Authority’s reputation for excellence and its positive impact on the town’s economic development over the years."

“Downtowns cannot survive or be developed without cost effective parking in appropriate locations," Brady notably wrote on her LinkedIn profile.

Aside from the MPA, Brady was involved in various other local initiatives, dedicated her time to community events, charitable causes and collaborative projects, the board said.

From 1978 to 1985, Brady served as a councilperson at-large and liaison to the parking authority. She owned a home painting business, dubbed A Woman's Touch, and worked as a writer, researcher and consultant on political, zoning and historic preservation issues, according to her LinkedIn profile.

“Marge’s legacy will remind us of the importance of community service and going above and beyond in all our endeavors," MPA chairperson Linda Stamato said.
