Morristown Man Nabbed in Drug Deal Shakedown With Gun, Pot, Fake Money
Three men caught by police before trying to purchase $17,000 worth of marijuana, cocaine, report says.

Three men were arrested in Parsippany by members of the Morris County Sheriff’s Office when they showed up to take part in an alleged marijuana and cocaine sale that police say may have turned violent.
Daniel Godfrey, 23, of East Orange; Shayne Hudson, 30, of Morristown; and Eric Scotland, 26, of Morris Township were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon in front of the Bow Tie Cinemas in Parsippany after showing up to buy some $17,000 worth of drugs, according to dailyrecord.com.
A “cooperating witness” alerted authorities that Godfrey was taking part in drug distribution in Morris County, and agreed to help police set up the man already accused of pistol-whipping and robbing another man in Morristown in July, the report said.
