Morristown Medical Center One Of America's 50 Best Hospitals

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown Medical Center is the only hospital in New Jersey to be recognized with the Healthgrades 2019 America’s 50 Best Hospitals Award.

This is the fourth year in a row Morristown Medical earned this distinction. It puts the hospital in the top one percent for clinical performance nationwide, hospital officials said.

"As one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals, we will continue to foster a safe, healing environment for our patients and communities, and create and implement best practices we can share with hospitals across the nation."

Healthgrades looks at 19 different conditions and procedures in determining the rankings. The hospital also has several specialty clinical quality awards from Healthgrades, including cardiac surgery, cardiac care, gastrointestinal care, joint replacement, and orthopedic surgery, among others.
