Morristown Police Chief Worked Outside Jobs While On Duty, Cop Claims
Whistleblower suit comes one year after top cop was reported to Morris County Prosecutor's Office, report says.

In a lawsuit brought by a current Morristown Police Department officer, Chief Peter Demnitz allegedly worked “outside” jobs while on duty for the town and, as a result of the claim, demoted the whistleblower officer.
According to nj.com, Officer Keith Hudson, a member of the squad since 2005, filed a complaint in 2014 alleging Demnitz worked for PSE&G, JCP&L, Mill Creek Construction, Verizon, and Morristown Medical Center during normal work hours and while on duty for the town.
As a result of that claim, Hudson’s whistleblower suit, released Tuesday, alleges he was demoted from the detective bureau in August 2015 and suffered a pay cut, the report said.
