Morristown Shredding Event Cancelled; Was Set For May 11
Organizers apologized for any inconvenience, and said to stay tuned for updates on future shred events.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A document-shredding event originally scheduled for May 11 in Morristown has been called off, organizers said.
In a social media post, the Kiwanis Club of Morristown said that the company providing confidential shredding services had to cancel.
"After countless years of providing this service in the fall and in the spring for the Morristown area residents, we will not be able to do this event in May as planned," Kiwanis members posted. "We are sorry for the inconvenience."

The town also let residents know of the cancellation on Friday, and said to be on the lookout for future events and initiatives for getting rid of confidential papers.
