Morristown Woman Accused Of Drug Dealing Out Of Hanover Hotel: PD

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A Morristown woman was arrested after police say she dealt drugs out of a local hotel.

Amirah Barnes, 34, from Morristown, and Drone Green, 39, from Trenton, were arrested at the America’s Best Value Inn in Hanover on Wednesday, Hanover police said. Police say the pair had been living in the hotel while "conducting their drug distribution business."

The two were charged with possession of over 1 ounce of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility with an upcoming court facility.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the DEA assisted the Hanover Police Department, police said.
