Multiple Drug Arrests In Morris County Parks: Police

Morris County Park Police made several arrests for drugs so far in April.

MORRIS COUNTY PARK POLICE, NJ — Morris County Park Police made several arrests in the county parks between April 1 and April 9, mostly for drugs. You can read about their recent arrests here, as written by police:

-4/1: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Mount Olive Township. An investigation led to Miguel A. Castro, age 44, of Hazleton, PA., to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (suspected Suboxone pills). He was released with a court date pending.

-4/5: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Morris Township. An investigation revealed Nylah M. Steele, age 19, of Maplewood, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Morristown Municipal Court. She was turned over to the custody of the Morristown Police Department.

-4/6: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers observed a suspicious person at Patriots' Path in Morristown. An investigation led to Kahiyf S. Crosby, age 23, of Hanover Township, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Hindering Apprehension. He was released with a court date pending.

-4/8: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Roxbury Township. An investigation led to Justin L. Gaston, age 25, of East Stroudsburg, PA., to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and numerous motor-vehicle violations. He was released with a court date pending.

-4/9: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Randolph Township. An investigation led to John R. Stansbury, age 32, of Disputanta, VA., to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was also found to have an N.C.I.C. Warrant from the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and turned over to the custody.
