MORRISTOWN, NJ — You can never get enough breakfast food and there is a new spot in Morristown that offers tons of it.

"I like saying it, Effin Egg. It's pretty cool, right? I've heard good reports. You can't miss it. Please join us if you can," Dougherty said at this week's council meeting.

The brand-new breakfast joint, located at 30 Morris Street, serves a variety of breakfast and brunch options, including made-to-order gourmet breakfast sandwiches and meals.

Effin Egg is an American fast-casual breakfast sandwich concept with three locations.

Their menu features classic comfort food with a twist, prepared with fresh ingredients and inspired by a genuine love of eggs.

Effin Egg, founded in 2019 by its CEO and "Presidente," Jeff Martin, is rapidly expanding, with plans to open seven additional locations all around the United States.

"We are so excited about the opening of our Morristown location. I think what drew us here is that the town is so charming and it seemed like the perfect area for our first New Jersey location," Martin said in a statement to Patch.

"Our owners of this location are from the Morristown area, so it really has that local vibe," he added.

Alongside its signature breakfast sandwiches, the restaurant also serves its "Effin Bowls" and "Effin Burritos," which come in a variety of fillings, including chorizo, scrambled eggs, hash browns and black beans.

In the mood for something sweet? They have you covered with their "Slutty Pancakes," which are three mini rainbow pancakes topped with cream cheese frosting and sprinkles, or their Effin Waffles.

The restaurant is officially open every day from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., with the grand opening set for March 30.
