Occupy This Space: Blockbuster Video
What once was "wow, what a difference" has become "wow, what a dump."
Once upon a time, people lamented the loss of the family-run video store as giant chains, mostly Blockbuster Video, knocked them out of business.
In today's cheap digital information age, it's the Blockbusters that have become a relic of the past.
That past can be viewed through the windows of 117 Speedwell Ave., once home to Morristown's own Blockbuster Video, which closed up shop last year. Inside are a number of memories of its once occupied past, including shelves, boxes and a copy of District 9.

Though this building might eventually fall to , that is still a long ways off. In the interim, its messy interior and broken, unwelcoming interior are reminders that the big dog in the park usually doesn't stay the big dog forever.
