Overturned Vehicle Prompts Road Closure On I-287 In Morris Co.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — An overturned vehicle on Interstate 287 northbound has prompted commuting delays in the area Wednesday afternoon, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon, south of Exit 44 – US 202 near Boonton Township, officials said.

As of 1:50 p.m., two right lanes of three lanes are closed, according to 511NJ.

Drivers are being warned that the lane closures are currently affecting traffic in the surrounding areas. Drivers should expect a 10-minute traffic delay, according to officials.
