Pieces Of Plastic Prompts Wegmans Recall Of Hummus
Did you buy hummus from the Hanover Wegmans recently? If so, check the labels.

HANOVER, NJ — A house brand of hummus sold by the Wegmans grocery chain has been recalled over concerns it may contain pieces of black plastic. The retailer has stores in six states, including a recently opened Hanover location. The recall was announced Oct. 12 on the company website.
The 8-ounce and 32-ounce containers of Food You Feel Good About Original Hummus with a best before date of Nov. 14, 2018, and a lot code of 8118262 have been recalled. The recalled hummus was sold in 98 stores in six states.
The recalled 8-ounce container has a UPC code No. 77890-26213 and the 32-ounce container has a UPC No. 77890-26221.

The problem "was brought to our attention via a customer comment," a spokesperson for Wegmans told CBS News.
All product may be returned to a store's customer service desk for a full refund.
