Is Liquor License Issue a Conflict for Councilman?
Kevin Gsell's married into the Walsh family, which has applied for pair of liquor license transfers the Town Council must vote on. Should he recuse himself from the vote?

In matters concerning the Walsh family–whose family members own and operate several Morristown bars and restaurants, including , and –Councilman Kevin Gsell has recused himself from discussions and votes, as he is married into the family and has not wanted to present a conflict of interest.
However, when the Town Council, operating as the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission was prepared to vote recently , Gsell made no attempt to step away from the vote.
That hearing ended with the council delaying their vote, which is scheduled to happen before , at 6:30 p.m. on June 13 at .
