Power Outages, Downed Wires In Morristown
Approximately 1,000 customers around Morristown and Morris Township are without power, according to Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L).
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A passing early morning storm knocked a tree onto electrical wires, causing a road closure and power outage in and around Morristown and Morris Township.
A stretch of Raynor Road in Morris Township is currently closed between Pepperidge Road and Starlight Drive due to a tree down on power wires, Morris Township police said.

Officials said that JCP&L crews are responding.
Power is estimated to be restored by 10:00 a.m. on July 14, according to JCP&L.
