Why did you decide to open your business in Morristown?

Pomodoropizza

We decided Morristown would be the best choice because Morristown is becoming the Mecca of food and restaurants and the new up and coming place to be.

Hibiscus

It needed something different than the usual, there is actually no upscale Caribbean/Jamaican restaurant in New Jersey, so currently Morristown boasts the only upscale Caribbean in this area and the first of its kind ever in a hotel chain and its right here in or town

Iron Bar

Morristown is constantly growing and has definitely become a destination

Sebastian's

We chose Morristown 17 years ago because we saw this town as a town on the rise and as business has shown, we were right.

How did you get your start?

Pomodoropizza

At first it was difficult to bring up a new business in this town but we got started with hard work good food and recipes that go back decades inherited from our family that has owned restaurants as far as we can remember.

Hibiscus

We always thought it would be a good idea to have a restaurant of this kind in Morristown and so when the opportunity came up at the Best Western we just jumped on it. With Chef Orville Brandon’s training from renowned  Johnson and Wales University , along with my wealth of experience in the marketing and Sales industry,  plain old common sense and lots of passion, we envisioned and established Hibiscus Restaurant

Iron Bar

Hospitality industry for more than 20 years, started at the bottom and worked my way up

Sebastian's

We are still family run as the Chef/Owner Dean Piccolo bought the restaurant from his father Pat Piccolo in 2007.

What is your mission/goal as a Morristown business owner?

Pomodoropizza

My goal as a Morristown business owner is to bring to people of Morristown and those around it a place to go and enjoy traditional Italian food and a friendly atmosphere where they feel in family as do our current customers. We are not building a business but a family where each customers feels they haven't left the house and grandma's cooking .

Hibiscus

To  provide the Morristown family /community with a place where they can dine on authentic Jamaican cuisine but also traditionally prepared American fare in an upscale but  cozy atmosphere along with great service with a smile, while listening to a mix of  popular Jazz and Caribbean music, depending on the nights you come in. Long Term Hibiscus hopes to open other restaurants.

Iron Bar

To provide and create a fun, entertaining and enjoyable experience with great atmosphere and products

Sebastian's

We strive to offer the highest quality food from local purveyors at a reasonable price.
