Severe Thunderstorm Moving East Through Morris And Sussex Counties
Reports of trees downed in Sparta as a result of severe thunderstorm.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has just reported a thunderstorm sweeping across northern New Jersey, which is affected parts of Morris and Sussex counties. The storm warning will remain in effect through 5 PM today.
The thunderstorm is moving along a line from Green Pond, near Kinnelon, to Lake Telemark, at 40 miles per hour. Authorities have gotten reports of downed trees in Sparta of Sussex. According to the National Weather Service, impact to sidings, damage to roofs and trees is expected.
