MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A truck has ignited into flames on Interstate 287, causing traffic delays in surrounding areas, according to authorities.

According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the truck is on I-287 northbound, north of Exit 47 – US 202, near Montville Township.

As a result, two of the three right lanes are currently closed, police said.

As a result, traffic in the surrounding areas is backed up, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

There is currently a 20- to 25-minute delay.
