Victim Identified In Fatal Morris County House Fire
The house fire is still under official investigation, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — The name of the 62-year-old man who died in a house fire in Randolph early Saturday morning has been released by authorities.
Gregory Balbirnie, a resident of the home on Cypress Place in Randolph, was discovered dead inside, along with two other residents who were transported to Saint Barnabas Medical Center with serious injuries.
Officials initially believed that Balbirnie, who was unidentified at the time, was 69 years old.

"On Saturday, Dec. 10 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Morris County prosecutor's office was notified of a fire at a residential structure on Cypress Place in Randolph. The Randolph Fire Department was able to extract a male and female resident from the building," Meghan Knab, a spokeswoman with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing, Knab confirmed.
