Virginia Tech Shooting Survivor Coming to Morristown
Colin Goddard to answer questions at screening of 'Living for 32' at Morristown Unitarian Fellowship.

Virginia Tech Shooting Survivor Colin Goddard will visit the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship and answer questions about the event that changed his life after a screening of the film "Living for 32," based on the events of the school massacre.
The film screening and Q&A session with Goddard will be held April 6 at 7:30 p.m. The event, which is sponsored by the Unitarian Church of Summit and the Social Justice Council of the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, will be free and open to the public.
The film follows Goddard who was shot four times by gunman Seung-Hui Cho at Virginia Tech University on April 16, 2007. Goddard was one of 17 students injured while 32 additional students were killed in the attack.

"Since recovering and graduating from Virginia Tech, Goddard has become an advocate for legislation to protect the public from gun violence. He is working with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence (the nation’s largest organization for this purpose) and is using his story to help catalyze the movement," according to a press release about the event.
Goddard has appeared on Andersn Cooper 360 and participated in the March on Washington to End Gun Violence.

The 40-minute film, "Living for 32," was selected to be part of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
