Wawa Celebrates Grand Opening In Morris County
Calling all Morris County Wawa fans: the wait for a new Wawa location is almost over.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Wawa is opening its newest store in Morris County this week.
On Thursday, May 18, the popular convenience store chain will open its newest location in East Hanover.
According to the Wawa website, the new store will be located at 28 Route 10.

The food and gas chain will open at 8 a.m. on May 18, offering free any-size coffee all day as well as a limited edition "Wawa Coffee, Hoagies & Kindness" t-shirt giveaway to the first 100 customers.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature appearances by New York Red Bulls player Bradley Wright-Phillips and the New York Red Bulls Freestyle Crew.

The first 50 customers will also receive an autographed Wright-Phillips card. According to officials, the celebration will continue with Wawa's signature Heroes for Hoagies challenge.
Local first responders from the East Hanover Police Department, East Hanover First Aid Squad, and East Hanover Fire Department will compete to see who can make the most hoagies in three minutes. Wawa will conclude the Hoagies for Heroes competitions by presenting $1,000 checks to each department's charity of choice.
The gas station is planning to open a few new locations in the Garden State's northern and southern regions, as well as along the Jersey Shore, in the spring of 2023. There are currently more than 260 Wawa locations in New Jersey.
