Woman Hit By Train, Hospitalized In Morris County: NJ Transit
NJ Transit officials say a woman was struck by a train en route from Dover to New York City on Saturday afternoon.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a train in Morris Township on Saturday afternoon, according to NJ Transit.
Morris & Essex Line train 6926, en route to Penn Station in New York, hit the woman at approximately 2:27 p.m., Kyalo Mulumba, an NJ Transit spokesperson, told Patch.
The woman has not been publicly identified.

The New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.
None of the approximately 150 customers or crew aboard reported injuries, said Mulumba.

Train 6926 was canceled at Convent Station with customers accommodated by the following train. No other train service was affected, the transit agency said.
