Food Jobs Available At Newark Airport At $19 Per Hour

NEWARK, NJ — Have a passion for food and customer service? Two upcoming job fairs for positions at Newark Airport may be right up your alley.

The Council for Airport Opportunity will hold a food service recruitment event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 17 Academy Street in Newark. Available positions include cooks, servers, dishwashers, cashiers, utility workers and bartenders, organizers said.

Business attire and face masks are recommended. Participants are asked to practice social distancing. Applicants must bring a social security card (unlaminated), a state driver’s license/learner’s permit or a non-driver ID card/working documents.

Another recruitment event for food jobs at Newark Airport will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at the airport’s Terminal C (near baggage claim 9, Uptop Pizza Restaurant, door 6).
