‘High-End French Bakery’ Celebrates Grand Opening In Newark

NEWARK, NJ — The Newark Downtown District recently gave a hearty welcome to the Élan Café, one of the newest additions to the local restaurant scene on Halsey Street.

“Congratulations to ElanCafe.us on their extraordinary grand opening today,” the group wrote on social media, recommending that people stop by the location at 87 Halsey Street to check out their menu.

“We are a high-end French Bakery serving freshly baked pastries and Specialty; Single Region, Fair-Trade Organic Coffee to the niche market in Downtown Newark; the home of Prudential head offices and the Rutgers University campus and dorms.
