Man Claims Passengers Poisoned Aboard Newark-Bound Flight

A disturbed passeneger aboard a Newark-bound flight from Hong Kong Monday claimed his fellow passengers had all been poisoned, Fox News reported

The man, whose name was not disclosed, became agitated during United Flight 116, passengers and an airline spokesperson said. The man repeatedly yelled for help, said he had information pertaining to Edward Snowden—the man who recently leaked national security information to the press—and repeatedly shouted, “I’m dead,” witnesses said.

Passengers tackled the man and helped flight attendants secure him. The man was taken to University Hospital by waiting Port Authority police when the flight landed around 1:30 pm.
