Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?
Leads the state's only environmental nonprofit solely dedicated to eradicating the causes of environmental pollution in low income and communities of color. Instrumental in passing the states groundbreaking Environmental Justice Law.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?
Got her start as a community member impacted by air pollution in Newark. Recruited as an Environmental Justice organizer by Ironbound Community Corporation where she worked for four years. Went on to lead a statewide environmental justice organization.
