Newark NJ Turnpike Crash Blocks Lane Monday Morning: DOT

NEWARK, NJ - A motor vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike has prompted commuting delays in the area Monday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:03 a.m., there’s a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike - Western Spur southbound south of interchange 15E-US 1&9 in Newark, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One right lane is currently blocked, the agency said.
