Essex County Teen Reported Missing On Halloween, Police Seek Public’s Help
Police are asking for help finding a missing 15-year-old in North Jersey.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help finding a teen who was reported missing on Halloween in North Jersey, authorities reported Tuesday.
Brianna James, 15, of Newark, was reported missing on Oct. 31, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
James was last seen in the area of Maple Avenue near Grumman Avenue in Newark. She is African American, 5 feet 9 inches and 150 pounds. It is unknown what type of clothing she was wearing at the time, police said.

James has run away from home two times before. Both incidents went unreported, police said.
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
