
Newark’s public swimming pools opened Saturday and will remain open through Aug. 31, the city announced in a statement.
“We want our residents of all ages to enjoy a safe summer, and our recreation centers are the perfect places to do just that,” said Mayor Cory Booker. “Come to our pools and enjoy all the healthy and wholesome fun that our recreation programs can offer.”
