Nonprofit Moves into New Downtown Headquarters

A nonprofit organization that provides grants to high-achieving students from the Newark area is moving into new headquarters at 550 Broad St., the companies involved with preparing the lease said.

The Wight Foundation worked with Cushman & Wakefield, a real estate broker, and Heritage Capital Group to negotiate the lease on the 8,000-square-foot space.  

“We congratulate Steven and Heritage Capital Group on this smooth and successful lease,” Ben Brenner of Cushman & Wakefield said. “Their ability to work within The Wight Foundation’s tight timeframe to deliver the space quickly and efficiently was critical – and impressive.”

The Wight Foundation’s new space will serve as the organization’s administrative offices and will include meeting space and resource facilities for its scholars, alumni and families.
