P.O.P.C.O.R.N Kidz Remember Amiri Baraka
The event will take place on Saturday October 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Irvington Public Library.

On Saturday October 25, the Irvington chapter of the People’s Organization for Progress will host its monthly children’s Black History Month program. Their youth project, the People’s Organization for Progress Children Of Right Now or Popcorn Kidz will be holding the event at the Irvington Public Library.
The program will begin at 1:00 p.m. and last till 4:00 p.m. This is a family friendly event that will include prizes and refreshments.
It will highlight important Black History events that occur in October. Baraka, who passed away in January, was born on October 7, he would have been 80.
