Ramos Mayoral Campaign Picks up Two Union Endorsements
Ramos says he will work to expand opportunities for construction work.

Two construction trade unions with more than 33,000 members combined have endorsed North Ward Councilman Anibal Ramos for mayor.
“We are thrilled to be working with a candidate who has consistently supported working families in Newark,” Michael Capelli, executive secretary of the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, said in a statement. “Anibal Ramos is clearly the best candidate in this race for the hard-working men and women of Newark. He understands the need for good paying jobs for Newark residents and he alone has the experience to expand Newark’s economy so that all residents will benefit.”
Also supporting Ramos is Springfield-based International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825, which has members throughout North Jersey and lower New York State.
