Three Boys Face Robbery Charges
Trio of 12-, 14- and 15-year-olds accused of using a BB-gun during a May home invasion.

Five people were arrested Thursday on various charges, including a 12-year-old wanted in a May 23 home invasion robbery, Newark Police said.
The fugitive apprehension unit arrested the 12-year-old, as well as two other boys, aged 14 and 15, at their homes and charged them all with robbery, conspiracy and weapons offenses. The boys are believed to have used a BB-gun in the robbery, Sgt. Ronald Glover said.

The squad also arrested Dashon Alexander, 25, who is accused of robbing a 30-year-old woman of $325 and assaulting her May 26. Alexander was arrested at his home at 287 S. 6th St. He has been charged with robbery, Glover said.
Also arrested Thursday was David Allen, 50, of 770 S. 19th St. Allen has been charged with robbery and weapons offenses after allegedly getting into a dispute with another man over less than $8, Glover said.
