2 Dead, 6 Injured In Shooting Near Rutgers Campus
New Brunswick police are investigating the overnight shooting on Delafield Street.
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Two people were killed, and six others seriously injured, in an early Sunday morning shooting near the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick.
Someone fired several shots in the area of 32 Delafield Street, just blocks from the campus, around 1:30 a.m., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
The shooting occurred at an off-campus party, ABC-7 New York's Nick Amador reported on Twitter. Ciccone said the shooting has no connection to Rutgers or its students.

The two men who were killed were pronounced dead at nearby Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Ciccone said. They had not been identified as of late on Sunday.
Six others are suffering from serious wounds at area hospitals.
