287 Southbound Bridge in Edison to have lane closures tonight

NJDOT officials announced Thursday that maintenance repairs to the Interstate 287 southbound bridge deck over the NJ Turnpike will require overnight lane closures this Friday night in Edison.

NJDOT’s bridge maintenance contractor, I.E.W., is scheduled to close the left and left-center travel lane on the bridge from 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 until around 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 to make priority repairs to the concrete bridge deck. The two right-most travel lanes will be maintained overnight, as well as access to all exit ramps.

At the eastern terminus of this bridge, I-287 southbound becomes Route 440 northbound.
