Car Stolen From Rutgers' Busch Campus In Piscataway

The Rutgers student parked the car and went to the gym, where they left their keys unattended. Someone stole the car keys in the gym:

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A car was stolen last Friday evening, Nov. 21 from a parking lot on the Rutgers' Busch campus in Piscataway.

The car, a 2021 Honda Civic, was stolen sometime between 5:40 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. Nov. 21, said Rutgers University Police. The car had been parked by a student in Lot 64, at 94 Brett Road.

The student said they parked their car before entering the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center. While in the gym, the student left their car keys unattended, and they are believed to have been stolen.

When the student returned to Lot 64, they discovered the Honda Civic was missing.

There is no description of the suspects.

The Rutgers University Police Department asks anyone who may have been in the area at the time contact the RUPD’s Detective Bureau at 848-932-8025.
