Cedar Hill Prep student V. Vijayaraj shines on the global stage at the International Environmental Science Olympiad, earning multiple awards

Somerset, NJ – February 10, 2025 – Cedar Hill Prep School is proud to announce that V. Vijayaraj, a dedicated and high-achieving student, made an exceptional mark at the International Environmental Science Olympiad (IESO) held at Robinson School in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from December 27-31, 2024.
According to their website, "IESO is open to all students who have qualified for the National Science Bee National Championships (in the USA), the Canadian, European, and Asian Championships of the International Science Bee, or any student who passes the IESO Qualifying Exam."
Competing against some of the brightest minds worldwide, Vijayaraj demonstrated outstanding knowledge and skills, earning multiple accolades:
🏆 Gold – Caribbean Environmental Geography Bee
🥉 Bronze – Oceanography Exam
🥉 Bronze – Meteorology Exam
🌟 Overall 9th place in IESO (based on combined placement in Battery Exam, Written Exam, Environmental Science Bee, and Beach Ecology Fieldwork)
🥈 Silver – Rainforest Alliance Youth Ambassador Task Force
