Co-LAB Arts to Host Puppet Slam on Saturday

The show features New York City-based puppeteers and adult themes.

New Brunswick's coLAB Arts will present their Fourth Annual Puppet Slam on Saturday, a free-form puppet show with adult themes.

The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 27 at the George Street Playhouse, 9 Livingston Ave.

The show is curated by Mary Gragen Rogers and sponsored by Heather Henson and Ibex Puppetry.

"It is an evening of puppeteers performing together in one space," the release said. "It is free form, it is storytelling, and very vaudevillian. We expect you to be engaged and not sit quietly."

Featured performers include Honey Goodenough, Matt Ward, SB Parks, Paul Spirito, Leila Ghaznavi, Ian Sweetman, Carol Sirugo, Carole D'Agostino, and Mark Gale. Josh Cohen will host the show, the release said.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
