FIFA World Cup Trophy to Visit New Brunswick Friday

Residents may have their picture taken with the cup for free.

Get up close and personal with the FIFA World Cup Winner's Trophy on Friday as the 2014 FIFA World Cup Winner's Trophy is slated to visit New Brunswick High School.

From 2:45-4:45 p.m. Friday, March 15, residents may have their picture taken with the cup for free, meet Fuleco, the official World Cup Brazil mascot and compete in a soccer challenge to win prizes.

The "Energy Play station" will provide informative activities for families, and "Engage with Safe Kids" will be on hand to dispense information about preventing injuries.

The event is sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, who is the first Official Healthcare Sponsor of both the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 and 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, according to a press release from the company.

New Brunswick High School is located at 1000 Somerset St.
