Funeral Arrangements Set for New Brunswick Boys
A funeral for Devine Nicholas is set for 11 a.m. Aug. 14 in Plainfield.

Funeral arrangements have been set for the two New Brunswick boys who were found in the Raritan River on Aug. 6 after accidental drowning claimed both of their lives.
According to a report on NJ.com, the family of Devine Nicholas will hold a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 14 at New Light Baptist Church, located at 207 Hazlewood Place in Piscataway.
The church will hold a funeral service immediately after the viewing, at 11 a.m., according to the report.

Services for Francisco Pereira-Rodas are being held privately at the request of the family, according to the report.
Nicholas, 11 and Pereira-Rodas, 10 were on Aug. 14 after they had been reported missing by their mothers the night before.

The two friends had reportedly said that they were headed to a neighborhood park, and failed to return home that evening.
State police for the boys on Monday morning, several hours before Pereira-Rodas's body was discovered on the Highland Park banks of the Raritan River, underneath the Albany Street Bridge.
Nicholas's body was discovered about two hours later further downstream.
The New Brunswick School District and the City of New Brunswick have announced a is currently accepting check and money order donations to assist the families of the two boys with funeral expenses.
