Have a hankering to work in retail? A new department store about to open in Woodbridge Center is hiring.
Boscov's, one of the last of the family-owned department store chains in the country, will be interviewing job candidates starting Monday, June. Job seekers can go to their interview center, located on the upper level of the mall across from Chick-Fil-A.
Interview center hours are Mondays through Thursdays, 10 am to 6 pm, and Fridays, 10 am to 3 pm.

Full and part time sales staff and support associates are being hired.
The mid-level department store announced last year that they were moving into the old Fortunoff store, a space of 150,000 sq. ft.

Fortunoff was one of the anchor stores of Woodbridge Center before it closed in 2009 after it went bankrupt. That was a situation Boscov's faced itself in 2008, when the filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. A little over a year later, the chain emerged from bankruptcy - still in family hands - and started to build itself back up.
