NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A local man fired a gun into a group of people this past Monday night, Sept. 30, on New Brunswick city streets, say police.
New Brunswick Police say Nhacir Neal, 20 and a New Brunswick resident, fired a gun at a group of people in the area of Jones Avenue between Comstock and Hale streets at 11:17 p.m. Monday.
Police say an altercation had occurred between two groups of young men.

Two men, 26 and 27, both from New Brunswick, were struck in the bullet spray, but survived.
Neal was arrested Thursday and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Riot.
