North Brunswick Brush Fire Doused Near Baseball Field: Police

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - A large tree and the area around it was ablaze Monday morning near a community baseball field, police said.

The North Brunswick Fire Department responded to the brush fire around 6:30 a.m. near Fidelity Plaza in the woods.

Unit 303, Engine 203, Fire Marshal 464 and North Brunswick DPW assisted at the scene, the North Brunswick Fire Department said in a statement.

Firefighters contained the blaze for around two hours and cleared it without incident, the North Brunswick Fire Department added.
