Raices Offers After-School Writing Program

Students ages six and older with an interest in writing are invited to join the Creative Expressions Writing Circle, hosted by Raices Cultural Center.

The group will meet at 4:30 p.m. Fridays in the basement of the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 S. Second Ave., Highland Park.

The group will discuss to all types of writing. The winter topic for the group is "World Writers: Poetry and Memories" according to the Raices website.

It is open to residents of any town.
