Rutgers Day 2013 drew a record crowd Saturday, with 83,000 attending the fifth annual event, according to the university.

The event was an opportunity to get out on a beautiful day and enjoy great music, great food, and to enjoy a variety of free activities, performances, exhibits and attractions highlighting the state university.

Visitors also explored the plant sale and visited the livestock barns during Ag Field Day and were immersed in music and culture at the NJ Folk Festival.
