Salvation Army Seeks School Supply Donations for Local Students

Donations will be accepted through Aug. 24.

The Salvation Army of New Brunswick is seeking donations of new school supplies to be given to area students in need.

The following items are sought, according to New Brunswick City Market: backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, rulers, highlighters, colored pencils, scissors, glue sticks, markers, calculator, 1" binders, 3" ring binders, notebooks, pens, student planners, pocket dictionaries, and erasers.

Donations are being accepted at the Salvation Army building, located at 287 Handy St., and will be accepted through Aug. 24.

Anyone making a donation is requested to first call Jeanette Lugo at the Salvation Army (732) 545-1477 before dropping off items.
