The Arts This Weekend: Huey Lewis and the News, Liza Minnelli

Some big names will be hitting New Brunswick this weekend, along with two one-act plays as the Crossroads Theatre's season finale.

If you like big name acts, you couldn't be in a better place than New Brunswick this weekend. Both Huey Lewis and Liza Minnelli will be at the State Theatre back to back, on Friday and Saturday. The Crossroads Theatre also premieres two one-act plays as its season finale, along with a special BOGO.

Huey Lewis and the News celebrate the 30th anniversary of their hit album Sports! The world premiere of two one-act plays, written by by best-selling novelist Walter Mosley and France-Luce Benson and directed by Marshall Jones, III, highlight the season finale of the Crossroads Theatre. Both plays run through May 19.
